Georgia Primary still set for May

For now, the Georgia Primary is scheduled for May 19, 2020, according to an article published in the Atlanta Journal Constitution April 2, 2020. Governor Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger both claim they do not have the authority to postpone. The date is not likely to change soon since the Georgia General Assembly shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Secretary of State’s Office began the process of sending out absentee ballot applications last week. Read more about it at the link below:
