Eric Crawford calls the meeting to order

Voting to accept minutes for previous meetings February 12th and March 16th are passed 5-0

Topic: Polling Locations and Workers

A great deal of poll workers backed out of working for early voting and as a result Jennifer Logan proposes using only 1 polling location at a gymnasium.

Judy McNichols is against this and wants another location opened.

Eric Crawford, Erma Denney, Larry Ewing and Theressa Tate all agree with one location.

Motion to have one lotion is approved 5-0

Jennifer Logan mentions they have received many ballot applications including 1,000 by email.

She is looking to train people to help as she currently has four county workers and her staff.

Topic: Staff and polling locations for primaries

The elections supervisor’s staff are currently doing a mixture, some working in office and some from home.

So far all polling locations for the primaries will still be open, but poll workers down from 75 to 40.

Supplies will be provided for all locations like sanitizer, disinfectant spray and gloves.

Also looking into either face shields or plexiglass

Misc. Topics

Judy McNichols suggests communicating to the Secretary of State through a letter that they would prefer if voting were done exclusively through absentee ballots.

Eric, Theressa, and Erma all agree with this.

Larry Ewing strongly disagrees as he feels it is not in the best interest of the voter.

Motion is made and passed 4-1.

9:42 a.m. the meeting is adjourned
