Lawsuit seeks primary election delay to June 30

The Coalition for Good Governance filed an 85-page complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia asking for a delay of the June 9 primary election to June 30,  according to an article published April 21, 2020, in the Rome News-Tribune.

“The suit also asks the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia to force the state to scrap its new touchscreens for the primary in favor of all-paper ballots, which opponents of the new machines have sought in prior litigation,” the article states.
