Douglas Co Bard of Elections 12/5/24

Kidd explained this special meeting was to vote to issue a Call for a Special Election. The district 2
commissioner resigned his post. The Call stated the election to replace him would be held March 12,
2024; qualifying would be from January 3, 2024 to January 5, 2024. He said the election would be open
to voters who have registered by February 12, 2024. If needed, a runoff would be held April 9.
The board unanimously approved the Call for a Special Election.
