About

our story

The Georgia Peanut Gallery is a non-partisan partnership made up of civil rights organizations and people dedicated to ensuring and promoting fair, transparent, and accessible elections for all Georgians.

The Peanut Gallery recruits and trains volunteers from across the state to monitor and report activities at local county board of elections meetings to ensure that county officials are accountable to the people.

The coalition’s mission is to shed light on the decisions that impact voting and elections in Georgia by collecting and publishing board of elections reports and mobilizing advocacy efforts designed to expand, promote, and protect our right to vote.

Through volunteer empowerment, community mobilization, and legal action, the Peanut Gallery combats voter suppression where it starts: at the local level.
