Introduction
The meeting was called to order, opening remarks were made by the chair, and time was allotted for public comments.
Election Tabulation Systems
The logic and accuracy of the Election Tabulation Systems to be used for the November 3rd, 2015 Gwinnett County Board of Education and City of Buford Board of Education special-purpose local-option sales tax was tested and certified.
Old Business
The minutes of the previous meeting, held September 24th, 2015 was approved.
There were no committee reports.
Organized Voter Registration Drives
The board reviewed board policy regarding organized voter registration drives. Any citizen can register people to vote. There is currently a sorority doing a voter registration drive that has registered over 600 people.
Hearings and Challenges
Citizen Sally Ovino is challenging the voter registration of a voter named Danielle. Sally received the driver’s license of another woman that doesn’t live at her address—Danielle. Sally looked Danielle up on Facebook and sent her a message, but hasn’t gotten a response yet.
The board moved to take Danielle off of the voter rolls.

The board has accepted the list regarding the November 3rd special election.

Election Supervisors Update by Voter Registration & Elections Director Lynn Ledford
Advanced voting and absentee voting by mail has started with no errors to report thus far.
Preparatory work has started for the March elections.
Community outreach has not started yet but the board has been sent a detailed email that was also sent out to community planners.
A prototype that will act as a guideline for voters has been created to put in public libraries and other places.
