Logic and Accuracy:

Logic and Accuracy will be performed April 15, 2020, to test all equipment used in voting on election day and early voting.

Poll workers, voting locations and early voting locations:

I have talked with precinct captains and confirmed that all precincts are good to go with the exception of Rock Springs, because I haven’t heard back from my contact. An alternative site would be the civic center.

The state should be shipping out hand sanitizer and cleaner, but we haven’t received them yet. We haven’t heard much from the state this week.

The law only requires that every county keep at least one early voting location open.

Because of Covid-19, the safety of our voters and the safety of our poll workers, the Board voted unanimously to have three weeks of early voting only at the Lafayette polling location (Lafayette senior center 636 S. Main st Lafayette GA) and no longer (include) the other four sites previously available.

We will probably be meeting again before our next regular meeting.
