Chatham Board of Elections Meeting 10/10/2022 

Meeting Called to Order 

Previous Minutes from September Approved 

Supervisor’s Report 

Billy Wooten: The 1st wave of absentee ballots is ready and will be mailed out tomorrow. 

So far, we have received 6,890 Applications and we are looking for about 70,000 votes on election day 

Training is going well for our poll workers this week and so far, we have trained about 665 people. 

For the last two elections, we had three check-in stations and this election we will have four. 

Tom Mahoney: I just want to take this time to ask voters to look into the races and understand what’s on their ballot

New Business 

Billy Wooten: Absentee Ballot Processing will begin on October 21st and run until November 8th starting at 2:00 PM each day every day if there is a workload 

Adjudication will be on these dates 

  • October 28th 
  • November 4th  
  • November 8th  

Polling Place Changes 

Thunderbolt City Hall is changed to the Senior Center 

Signs will be posted on both old and new locations
