Supervisor’s Report
Hadley Campbell is resigning as board chair on March 31st. Lawton Sacks, the new chair starts April 1st.
Our Statesboro precinct will need to be relocated. So far we have two offers but nothing is concrete yet. The estimation is that this will impact about 7000 voters.
Public Comments:
Reed: I would to thank the board chair for his service. With that said I have a question. There is a lot of fear. What are the complaints about Statesboro?
Supervisor: I’m unsure of the reasoning as I was appointed in late 2021. There were a few concerns about Statesboro. There were a few concerns about voters walking down the hallway to use the bathroom. Also, it sometimes conflicts with the school’s evening program.
Jessica: What is the timeframe for this decision?
As far as I’m aware September 1st
