- The Board of Elections Has secured grants from 2 different organizations. The Center of Technology and Civic Life for $1.6 million and The Schwarzenegger Institute on Public Policy for $99,600.
- We currently have 7 drop boxes for absentee ballots and will add 3 more by 10-14 giving us a total of 10 drop boxes.
- We have a partnership with Connect Douglas for voters to call them or our office 24 hours in advance to schedule a shuttle ride to their particular polling location and then return them to their homes. This is available for all of early voting and on election day as well.
Supervisor Office Operations Report:

We have processed 338 voter registration applications that were turned in on 10-5 which was the voter registration deadline. As of today we have processed 23,814 absentee ballot applications.
Early voting for Douglas County and the state of Georgia begins on 10-12. It will begin at 8am here at the Courthouse at 8700 Hospital Dr.
We currently have 7 drop boxes for absentee ballots and will add 3 more by 10-14 giving us a total of 10 drop boxes. We will empty our drop boxes at the end of each day.
