Office operations

- M. Kidd reported he participated on a working group that will make recommendations on district lines for the county commissioners.
- Kidd reported the space for storage had doubled in price for equipment not requiring the highest levels of security. They have procured alternative space.

Old business
- Kidd reported the office participated in the December 3 Christmas parade.
- Staff gave an update on the inventory system they are putting in place. A template has been developed and is being integrated into the office operations. Its main features: It will include a log of equipment use, maintenance, and distribution; be searchable by staff; and will be on a mobile app.
New business
- Kidd reported the Secretary of State’s office will be coming to the county to train staff on the new redistricting model. After that’s completed, all voters will get new precinct cards. The cards will be pink so voters will know they are the most recent ones.
M. Good asked if they know which precincts are affected. Kidd said they do, and this information will be announced at the December 14 county commissioners meeting. In response to a question from R. Proctor, Kidd said they have funds for the mailing.
2. Kidd reported the proposed county commissioner district lines will be presented at the December 14 meeting, for public comment.
