Lawsuit Demands Spanish-language Absentee Ballots in Gwinnett County

A civil rights group representing five Georgia organizations has filed a federal lawsuit demanding Spanish-language absentee ballot applications to residents in Gwinnett County who aren’t fluent in English. Secretary of State Calls for Special Election

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced a special senate election on June 9 in the District 4 counties of Bulloch, Candler, Effingham, Emanuel, Evans and Tattnall. A run-off, if needed, will be held on August 11.
