Whitfield County Official Board of Elections Meeting Minutes 09/12/19

CALL TO ORDER: 

Stephen Kelehear, Chairman board member called the September 12th, 2019 meeting to order at 8:07 A.M. 

Members Present: 

Stephen Kelehear, Chairman 

Rob Cowan 

Carol Byers 

Staff Present: 

Rhonda Franks 

Andrea Springfield 

Landon Smith 

Special Guest: 

Mr. Wade

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: 

Minutes from the August 8th, 2019 meeting were presented for the  Board to approve. 

Motion: Carol Byers Board member 

Approved: Stephen Kelehear 

Unanimous vote. Motion carried. 

OLD BUSINESS: 

A. Redistricting completion. Waiting on new cards to mail out. B. Equipment transfer to SOS- Approved. 

NEW BUSINESS: 

A. Dominion Mobile Printing to replace Balotar. 

B. All information for Ballots have been sent to SOS.

C. 1^st session of training on new machines will be October 1^st and  October 2^nd. 

D. November 5^th is the next election. 

PUBLIC HEARING: 

None 

DISCUSSION: 

Purchasing booth or carts for new machines 

CLOSED SESSION: 

None
