Morgan County Board of Elections 10/15/20

A. 13 percent of active voters in Morgan county had cast early in-person ballots in two days and one hour.

B. 37 percent of absentee ballots mailed to voters had been returned and there were about 1,500 absentee ballots still out

C. It is taking about 15 minutes to vote early in-person

D. The local office has replaced 19 absentee ballots that reportedly had not reached voters two weeks after the out-of-state vendor mailed them. Beginning Friday, Oct. 16, all absentee ballots will be mailed by the Morgan County elections office instead of the state’s vendor
