Chairman Daniell called the meeting to order at 4:09 p.m.
Public Comment:
? Sarah Ghazal made requests to mail absentee applications immediately following the August run off, increase ballot box quantities throughout the county and to expand early voting opportunities.
? Sharon Hill made requests for the following: early processing of absentee ballots, additional ballot boxes, expansion of early voting locations, ample paper ballots at polling locations and a uniform emergency procedure plan for future elections.
? Jacquelyn Bettadapur expressed her concerns regarding proposed boundary changes to MR3A and MR3B and the circumstances that occurred during the previous election. Ms. Bettadapur made requests for the following: accessible early voting for all, additional voting machines, ballot boxes and polling locations, Saturday and Sunday voting, additional training and increased preparation and preparedness for future elections.
Mr. Aiken made a motion to approve the following meeting minutes:

Public Hearing:
? To request approval to make an emergency change to the location of the polling place for Pope 01 from Tim D. Lee Senior Center, 3332 Sandy Plains Rd., Marietta, GA 30066 to Mountain View Regional Library, 3320 Sandy Plains Rd., Marietta, GA 30066 effective August 11, 2020.
? To request approval to make an emergency change to the location of the polling place for Sweetwater 02 from Presbyterian Village, 2000 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106 to Floyd Road Baptist Church, 3996 Floyd Rd., Austell, GA 30106 effective August 11, 2020 through January 5, 2021.
? To request approval to make an emergency change to the location of the polling place for Vinings 03 from Vinings Church, 4479 Atlanta Rd. SE, Smyrna, GA 30080 to King Spring Baptist Church, 3732 King Springs Rd. SE, Smyrna, GA 30080 effective August 11, 2020 through January 5, 2021.
? To request approval to divide Marietta 3A precinct in order to form the Marietta 3B precinct. The polling place location for Marietta 3B will be located at Iglesia Misionera Asambleas De Dios, 1021 Oregon Trail, Marietta, GA 30008. The remaining portion of Marietta 3A will continue to vote at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 566 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064.
There were no public speakers.
Chairman Daniell made a motion to close the Public Hearing at 4:43pm Mr. Aiken SECONDED. APPROVED 4-0.
Chairman Daniell made a motion to approve Items 1-3 and recommended to approve item 4, contingent upon receipt of the signed contract from Iglesia Misionera Asambleas De Dios. Jessica Ms. Brooks SECONDED. APPROVED 4-0.
Director Eveler addressed the Board and answered questions previously submitted by Ms. Brooks regarding the following: voter registration deadlines, absentee ballot application status, timelines for mail in ballot processing, communication to voters regarding who is responsible for mailing absentee ballot applications, drop box availability and their locations, poll worker recruitment, hiring additional troubleshooting technicians, loaned county employee recruitment improvements, enhanced poll worker and equipment training and emergency ballot kits.
Board Member Comments:
Mr. Wilson recommended including polling location information on Cobb County water and electricity bills in order to further communicate polling locations specific to each voter’s personal residential address.
Chairman Daniell requested Director Eveler to speak further on this.
Director Eveler explained the limitations of execution informing the Board that the County would be able to include a flyer, however; it would be generic in nature due to the inability to provide household specific information pertaining to their assigned polling location.
The Chairman set the next regular meeting for August 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Aiken moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:16 p.m.
