Sunday Voting Discussion
Around 22,000 voters are in county
Looking at a way to reduce lines. Sunday voting is brought up.
Currently at some locations the board is only able to put in only 5 machines due to social distancing limitations.
A board member brings up sunday voting as absolutely necessary to both be fair to citizens schedules and as a way to cut down lines
Motion made to accept sunday voting on October 18th.

The Director makes a suggestion to the board to hire younger more technically savvy college students to help with equipment on election day in November. They could mark this as community service and get a stipend.
Female Board Member: *Muffled could not hear
The Board Agrees with the Director’s suggestion.
A member notes that these students will need equipment and Poll worker training in addition to a background check.
Poll workers might also need a refresher training in between runoffs and Elections,
One member makes a point to tell other board members that they should get anyone interested in becoming poll workers as the county is in desperate need of them.
Poll worker training starts early September.
