- Director Kidd reported they are working with the cities of Villa Rica and Douglasville to prepare for the Nov 2 elections. Qualifying is Aug 16-18 at the city halls. Both cities have special election items that will be added to the ballot.
- Kidd reported he and staff will be attending mandatory training on Aug 29-Sept 1.
- Kidd reported they will be holding their first deputy registrar training on Sept 8. It’s mandatory for anyone planning a registration drive.
- M. Good asked about for requesting an absentee ballot. Kidd said they can request a ballot Aug 16 or later, and ballots will be sent out after Sept 10.
Kidd announced three staff members have been hired to fill new positions.
Kidd announced the staff will be gathering info to prepare for the 2022 budget.
