There are two challenges by Gordon Roden( may be misspelled) made on Dec 16 and 18th.

The challenge made on Dec 16th is for 2,948 voters to be marked ineligible to vote in the January 5,2021 runoff election

The challenge made for Dec 18th is for 4,943 voters to be marked ineligible to vote in the January 5,2021 runoff election

4 votes to adopt the new challenges into the agenda.

Agenda passed

Evans moves on to public comments

A Concerned voter has an issue with seeing his name in a list made by Gordon Roden for voter ineligibility. He states that the list is in a published article and he thinks due to him filing for a change of address is the probelm. He states that he and his wife still reside in Athens county and still pay taxes in the county.

Another concerned voter discusses their displeasure with the challenge in the county and attributes the challenge to the republican party creating false allegations.

The public comments continue from voters in the county explaining the discrepancies and problems with the challenge and comments disproving and discrediting the claims of voter ineligibility.

The Meeting Moves on to Item D which are the challenges made by Mr.Roden.

The challenge made on Dec 16th is for 2,948 voters to be marked ineligible to vote in the January 5,2021 runoff election

The challenge made for Dec 18th is for 4,943 voters to be marked ineligible to vote in the January 5,2021 runoff election

Judd Drake asks if the board can combine the challenges.

He states Mr. Roden believes that the voters filed for a change of address through the United States Post Service.

Mr. Roden provides a list to the board but it does not include previous addresses of the voters being challenged and has many flaws in general.

Mr. Drake says that he does not believe that this is enough evidence to prove probable cause.

Michael Petty Agrees and states he feels that there is no probable cause.

Ms. Till wants the record of this challenge to be under an individual not the republication party.

Jesse Evans says that since Mr. Roden is the chairman of the Republication party that this challenge is connected to the party.

4 votes for the motion of no probable cause.

1 abstain

Motion passed

Jesse Evans states that since there is no probable cause found the challenge is denied.

Meeting adjourned
