Director’s Report

I have a request for certification of election and minutes of some meetings.

I also have recommendations on board of election compensation

I recommend an increase of $250 each month and $50 per special called meeting.

Received a request from the vice chair for all polling locations

Patrick Jaugstetter:

This is in regards to the e-splost cost lawsuit

The Board of Commissioners has yet to authorize the filing of a lawsuit.

This should be required as I don’t think a challenge to this could be withstood without an authorization from the county

What I can do is generate an invoice for the Board of Education so they can deny it formally. I will present it to the Board of Commissioners to see if it prompts them to act.

Have you requested for the chair to put it on the agenda

Board member Schmelz: Are you permitted to share our recommendation with the BOC

Patrick Jaugstetter: Yes. I actually have already.
