The Oconee County Board of Elections called for a special election to take place in November to fill a vacancy of Post 3, due to the passing of Bubba Wilkes. Our first item is the approval of the from 2-4-20 meeting minutes. Minutes approved.
The next item on the agenda is the Call for a Special Election. Due to the recent passing of our dear friend Bubba Wilkes, it’s necessary to hold a special election to fill the vacancy of Post 3 of our Board of Commissioners to replace him on Nov. 3. Qualifying for Post 3 is August 17-19 8:30am – 4:30pm at the Board of Elections office. Qualifying fee $638.50.
